Fragaria plants growing nearby a pond in a mediterranean mountain forest area. This is one of the very few locations where F. viridis occurs, and here is where the healthiest plants were found, some of them with well developed fruits, although it was not possible to collect all 20 plants as vegetative reproduction was intense and fruiting plants were not that abundant. Fragaria vesca occured in the same area, but they were easy to tell apart and our identification confidence is high. Identification mistakes are however possible.183.06.0N/ALuis Santos del BlancoDept Ecology and Evolution. Biophore Building.
